“Inspiration comes from nature & rural life,
always flowing, shifting & re-surfacing,
woven with threads of faith & humour.”
Vicki Hotte
Biography
I’m a visual artist working out of Beaverlodge, Alberta, an area with
both beautiful agricultural landscapes and vast wilderness. I use acrylic
paint, various drawing media, new & found materials to create 2 & 3D
images.
I received a Fine Arts Diploma from Grande Prairie Regional College,
and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (with Honours), from the University of
Victoria, in 1990.
I have lived on a cattle farm most of my life, so naturally, that is a
strong influence on my artwork.
