Wendi Nordell is a local artist, currently residing in Wembley. She has been
drawing & painting her whole life, getting into trouble in school for doodling in
margins, but being encouraged at home to draw on her bedroom walls. She
attended Alberta College of Art & Design for 1 year & then decided to pursue
motherhood. Now that her youngest is graduating High school, she has jumped
back in fully to being an artist. She is happiest when creating from her own
thoughts and visions, mostly of faeries, mermaids, trolls & the magical &
whimsical. Wendi is currently doing a painting or drawing a day for a year and can
